We swapped dated white wood railings for sleek black metal ones and refreshed this Portland porch and deck.
What the home needed
The Portland home's covered front porch and open deck looked outdated due to worn decking and old white wooden railings. The homeowners needed a more modern, durable, and low-maintenance outdoor space that would preserve the open view of their yard and Japanese maple.
How Salexx solved it
The crew upgraded the deck surface, added clean fascia boards for a polished finish, and replaced the old wooden railings with slim, sturdy black metal railings. The dark railings complement the home's red shingle siding, modernize the entrance, and maintain an unobstructed view of the yard. The result is an attractive, durable outdoor space that requires minimal maintenance.
